Mission Statement
The Danced Card Company was founded with the objective of hosting elegant and fun dances for Singles, as a way to begin an honorable and romantic courtship.

Company Background
Many people ask us about the origins of The Dance Card Company and how we came up with the idea to start something as unusual as this. Here’s what owner, Mark A. Krekeler, says about the origin of The Dance Card Company:

I got the idea of dance card courting when I gave my wife, Tina, a 100-year-old Viennese dance card for her birthday, along with a two-page handwritten love letter. The letter expressed my wish to have been able to court Tina in this elegant manner from a time when formal dances were held and a noble man’s ‘motives would have been to find a spouse and raise a family.’

For quite some time I contemplated the idea of hosting dances for singles to give them the benefits of this romantic era of courting. Once I made up my mind that it was possible to turn back the clock and make all these things happen, I met with my pastor to pray that this new venture would have His blessing as I moved forward.

I shared my idea with others as I began to put together all the arrangements.  People seemed excited about the idea.  They liked the format of each evening; having a live orchestra, dance instruction, and of course food and beverages – just like 100 years ago.

Now, every third Monday of each month will begin a series of dances for singles at area hotel ballrooms around the Denver area.

The Dance Card Company will grow and include a wide variety of dances. The interest is high to include dances for married couples, senior citizens, fundraising groups and even high school proms.”.
